I Can't Take this!!!!

Well, we had another eventful trip to the ER again. This time it was Carlie. This morning I got her up for her normal shower in the morning before school. We were in the shower and she started complaining that she couldn't breathe. She was kind of acting goofy, which isn't uncommon. Next thing I know, she passes out on me and falls back and hits her head on our built in shower bench. Of course I freak out! She definitely had her bell rang. So I kept telling her to breathe and look at me and I got her to the bed. She kept telling me that she passed out and that she was better. Bubba was at the shop and I got ahold of him. He said that he was on his way. It took him about 20 minutes to get home. I swear he is sick of me calling with news like this. Then after all this she tells me that her head hurts. So I roll her on her side and my bed had a little pool of blood. Not too bad. So after looking her head over, there was a BIG cut in her scalp, just above her ear. It was so deep you could see her skull!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wanted to THROW UP! I would have thought there would have been more blood. So anyway, once Bubba got home we got the boys to Marilyn's and then off to Luthern we go. . .

Once we got there they immediately took us back and started working on her. They ran all kinds of tests that Thank God came back all normal. They ended up putting 3 staples in her head and she was good to go. I am so thankful that nothing came up abnormal, but on the other hand I am freaked out about Why a perfectly healthy 6 year-old just passes out! So guess what...I drove straight to Dr. F's office. I wanted his whole take on the thing. He didn't seem overly concerned, but he wants to have a Pediatric-cardiologist look at her EKG. To check for abnormal heart rhythms. What also bothers me is the whole seizure thing. SO we are going to take one step at a time. I will keep you all posted. I think I am needing a FASTPASS at Luthern as many times as I am there.
