I hope this finds everyone having a fabulous weekend so far. Mine has been ok. . . I got a cold. Darn it!! I guess it was bound to happen, with school back in session and all. Carlie had it first and then I got it and then little "Porkchop". So we haven't been doing much. Yesterday I laid on the chair all day. I did manage to take the kids to the gymnastics place for 2 hours to burn off energy. Then we went to Blockbuster and rented some movies. Pretty boring, but nice for a change. Today I did go to the Parade of Homes with Denise and her mom. It was a real nice girls day, and Porkchop went along too. Then we went to the Morrison Inn for Linner. It was really good. I have never been there before. We need to get out more. hahaha
The Parade of Homes was pretty cool and sad at the same time. It makes me sad to think how out dated our house is. Too many stairs though. They did have some neat decorating ideas. I need Denise to help me. I was glad to see that every room had different carpet. Especially since we have to replace some and can't afford to do it all. I guess we will be in "style". haha
That is all for now. Have a great Labor Day! Love Ya

Glasses
So for you guys that don't know already. . . Carlie had to get glasses.
If it is not one thing. . . it is another. So back on August 5th, Carlie went for her 6 year check up. Everything was great except she didn't do very well on the eye exam part. Dr. F said that I should take her to an eye doctor and have her eyes checked by them, since they really only do the generic eye exam at their office. So I made an appointment thinking that she will probably have to get glasses to wear when she is in class or to watch t.v.
So we went to the eye doctor and after them dialating her eyes and doing a very thorough exam, we were told that she had to in fact get glasses. But not for the reason that I was originally thinking. I had no idea but Carlie is only seeing pretty much out of one eye! Apparantly she has a problem focusing with both of her eyes at the same time. So therefore they are starting to turn in. This is because when she has to focus far away she has to struggle, and when she has to focus close she has to struggle as well. Then when she gets tired of doing this she just will look out of one eye. The problem with this is, the eye that is not being used loses muscle and starts to get LAZY. Therefore they aren't working together. SOOOOO she has to wear the glasses all the time and most likely by the time she is 11, 12, or 13 her eyes will be strong and straight! So we are so glad that it was caught now. Thanks to Dr. F. I just love him! He is so on top of it all.

Preschool
Here is Carter hanging out before Carson was dropped off at Preschool. He looks so funny. I love the look on his face. Check out that bottom lip.
Carson pointing at the playground.
His backpack is as big as him.
His little name tag.
This is how I left him when I dropped him off. So he was content. I was a little worried.
He said he wants to come again. When I asked him what he did, he said, "Just played." I asked him if he learned his ABC's and he said. . . exact words. . . "Not Quite Yet." Too Funny.

Loader 101 Class
The Zoo Continued. . .
So Brandi and Anthony, Stef, Byron, and Colin, and Carson and I went to the Zoo yesterday for some quality time together. We had a great time chatting and watching the boys run and play. They were so cute together. It was also Colin's 2nd Birthday so we were able to spend some time with him and that was extra special.
Here is Anthony and Carson. I have no idea who the lady is behind them! ha
Carson took a million pictures of the Giraffe.
I love this picture. When we rode the train. . . Colin had to watch the tracks and the wheels. It was too funny how many boys had their heads down.
Here is all of us riding the merry-go-round. So much fun! We need to do this more often guys.

The Firehouse and Zoo!
Uncle Bubba and Colin on the Firetruck. It was Colin's 2nd Birthday!
There is Johnny showing off by climbing all the way to the top for the boys! It made me sick to watch it! Little Anthony was too busy watching us.
Carson was too scared to climb up with the rest of them. So he just wore Daddy's helmet.
Here is Anthony sitting in Uncle Bubba's seat!
Here is the new engineer for the Denver Fire Department. He is still a probie. . .But it looks to me that Uncle Bubba is going to have some competition for his job!

It's Official
Well, it is official. We are absolutely 100% done having children. I went in yesterday to get my tubes tied and uterine ablation. It was pretty painful yesterday, but I feel much better today. The tubal was the least painful. I was my uterus that was on FIRE! But so very worth it, not to have a period ever again. I am very excited about it.
So I am just having a weekend of relaxation watching the Olympics. Nothing other than that to write about.
Love ya!
