Well, sorry I didn't update about what the doctor said about the kids. No news is good news! Carlie was a lot better by the time we went and he thinks it was just a fluke thing with her throwing up and all. Carson's ears looked good and he did prescribe a cough medicine to help him get some sleep at night. Bubba also went to the doctor on Thursday for his terrible cough that he got back and his doctor prescribed him a cough medicine and Zithromax. So everyone should have been getting better, right? . . .WRONG!!! Poor Bubba was getting worse by the hour. By Friday morning he was dizzy and sweaty and felt horrible. The kids were good though. So I put another call into Bubba's doctor and after calling them twice and waiting, we decided to take him to the after hours care instead. They swabbed his nose and were able to confirm that he in fact had INFLUENZA A!!!!!! So the doctor prescribed Tamiflu and told me to immediately call my OB and the pediatrician. Both of them said to stay away from him totally until he has been on the Tamiflu at least 24 hours. So needless to say, I took the kids to my mom's house and tried to spend the night over there. Well, "our little homebody" wouldn't sleep at grandma's, so me and Carson went home and I slept on the couch. Poor Bubba spent all weekend with a surgical mask on and me constantly spraying him with Lysol. Needless to say the Tamiflu really helped him and he is back at the shop today. So far so good, nobody is coming down with it. Although, I do feel like I am getting Bronchitis! Please tell me Spring is coming soon! I am sick of everyone being SICK!!!!!!!

Sick AGAIN!
Well, Carson has been coughing and having a hoarse voice all week. Well now he is saying that his ear hurts, again. Wasn't just 2 weeks ago we were dealing with the same thing. Then last night at 2:30 am I wake up to Carlie throwing up in our bed!!! She continued until about 4:30. So she is sick too. To top it all off, Bubba finally went to the doctor this morning and they gave him some antibiotics. Knock on wood, I am the only healthy one in the house. I feel so bad for all of them. We are headed to the doctor at 2 this afternoon. I am not sure if they will do anything or not. I want Carson's ear checked and to make sure Carlie doesn't have strep. I saw a few white spots in her throat. I was supposed to work today and naturally this all happens. I called Denise to cover for me and she said Haley is complaining of a upset stomach and sore throat. They were all together on Tuesday night, so maybe someone had something that was shared. You just never know with kids. I can't wait for the summer to come and all the bugs to go into hiding. Then you have to deal with all the darn allergies. Anyway, that is the update at the Calabrese household. I will let you all know what the doctor says.

LA$ VEGA$
Long time. . .NO POST!!! I know, I know. Well, we went to Las Vegas for Valentine's Day. Not really for the actual day, it just worked out that way. Carlie had a 4 day weekend so we made a little trip out of it. It was a very quick and fun trip. The kids were fairly good. Carson had to be a little SHIT on the plane ride out there and back. I am thoroughly convinced that little Carter is going to come out with a flat smushed head from all the bending over I had to do. I think Carson dropped everything I handed him! My parents and us had ajoining rooms which made it very nice with the kids. Carlie didn't even sleep one night with us. She was either sleeping with Grandma or she went to "Hauntie's" to sleep. Tom, Carol and Tony came out too. So we had the whole family. Ok, Almost. We didn't hit anything big so here we are back at work slaving away. Darn it. I can't say that I didn't try, right?

The Chinese Birth Chart is Right. . .Once Again!
Well, Natalie went to the doctor today for the ultrasound. The Chinese Birth Chart is right once again. She is having a little. . . . . . . . . . .BOY! Everything looks great and she is still on schedule for the end of June. Nicholas is excited to have a little brother, and Carlie is disapointed once again. She said that she was wanting Nicholas to be the only boy in his family. We will have to see what Cousin Jody is having. It must be the year of boys once again. Maybe she will break the cycle and have a girl. Stay tuned. I think she goes for her ultrasound the end of this month or maybe even next week?

No Much. . .
Not much to report other than Carson is a tiny bit better. He has been on antibiotics since Friday and he is still coughing like crazy. Therefore, the doc was right in the aspect of the bronchitis being viral. I spent all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday holding him contiuously. I loved it! Except the bad thing is I had to pee all the time and I had to lay him on the floor of the bathroom! He is better, I can pee by myself now. Carlie feels like she is getting it now! I hope not. She always has such trouble with the whole asthma thing.
Natalie goes for her ultrasound tomorrow, so look for an update around 11 or 12!

Lony is sick...sick...sick!
Well, Carson came down with a doozy of an infection in the matter of 2 days! He started out Wednesday with a dry hacky cough and by Thursday night he was running a 103 degree temp. So needless to say we were at the doctor office today. Our regular Pediatrician was out of the office today so we were refered to see a doctor on 80th & Kipling. She was great too. She diagnosed him with an ear infection and a touch of Bronchitis. She thinks that the bronchitis is most likely a virus, but she prescribed amoxicillin for the ear. So if he has a bactiria infection then it will knock it out too. Poor thing is just sitting here whimpering. It is so pathetic. I just hate it when the kids get sick. It makes you feel so helpless. Just hopefully Carlie won't get it now. Did I mention to Thank "stubborn" Bubba for not going to the doctor when he had it 2 weeks ago? Oh well, what are you gonna do?
